To be Honest becomes Pakistan’s first digital show | Nashpati Prime

To be Honest’, has become Pakistan’s first digital show to be telecast on any television channel. Initially streamed on Nashpati Prime, it is now being broadcast on TV One, making it the first Pakistani entertainment internet show to be taken on by a TV channel.

The show is hosted by well-known stand-up comedian Tabish Hashmi and has an array of guests from the entertainment and digital arena like Hina Altaf, Furqan Qureshi, Yasra Rizvi, Shafaat Ali, Mooroo, Irfan Junejo, Mustafa Chaudhry, etc.

Tabish Hashmi, mostly because of his comedy and an amazing sense of humor, became very famous in Pakistani as well as all in Asia. It is not entirely scripted yet Pakistani television shows especially are coordinated ahead of time. The visitor booker and makers have a discussion with the visitor before the show to work out what they will discuss and which account they will tell. The entire thing hasn't been scripted and practiced, yet the star understands what funny story they will advise and the host realizes what to request to lead them there.

Tabish Hashmi is an amazing host. Apart from being funny, witty, warm, and genuine, you have to give him extra credit for not adding any segments for games or pranks with celebrities. It’s an unadulterated quintessential talk-show. He gives his guests proper time to talk about their projects and stories they have, and still maintains the funny element throughout. I have found that it’s very hard for any other talk show hosts to be able to do. He is a master at conversation. If you watch some of his guest interviews you'll see celebrities at ease like at no other talk show.

I’ve got to go with Tabish Hashmi. He does a great job of meshing multiple celebrities from very unrelated films/shows/etc and, somehow, making them all actually interact in a great way. Enough to sustain the show. He gives them a bit of booze and then sets it off. The rest falls together on its own.

The web industry in Pakistan has been coming of age over the years, especially with respect to video-on-demand platforms. Although such endeavors are still few and slow in growth, this initiative marks an important milestone for our entertainment industry and carves a road map for others to follow suit.” In an era where premium web content is gaining audiences internationally, this shift might prove to be a cornerstone for the future of diverse television entertainment from Pakistan, creating new opportunities for young digital savvy and creative people looking for economically productive outlets for their talent.

Entertaining shows on Nashpati Prime like To be honest, khanabadosh, Eid per kia pehnugi and many more to come.
